耐火水泥常指铝酸钙为主要成分的水泥。耐火水泥是不定形耐火材料，特别是浇注耐火材料的基本结合剂。其化学组成主要是Al2O3和CaO，有的还含有相当多的Fe2O3和SiO2。矿物组成有以下五种矿物：铝酸一钙CaO·Al2O3(CA)、二铝酸钙CaO·2Al2O3(CA2)、七铝酸十二钙12CaO·7Al2O3(C12A7)三种化合物以及含夹杂物的钙黄长石2CaO·Al2O3·SiO2(C2AS)、铁铝酸四钙4CaO·Al2O3·Fe2O3(C4AF)等构成。通常根据其化学矿物组成分为三类。

Refractory cement often refers to the cement of calcium aluminate as the main component. Refractory cement is an amorphous refractory, especially a basic binder for pouring refractory materials. 耐火水泥的性质主要取决于其矿物组成。耐火水泥的主要矿物组成铝酸一钙(CA)具有很高的水硬活性凝结虽不甚快但硬化迅速(硬化时间不超过)，是高铝水泥的强度特别是早期强度的主要来源。二铝酸钙(CA2)水化硬化较慢，早期强度较低而后期强度较高。七铝酸十二钙(C12A7)，具有水化快凝结迅速的特性，但强度不高。在含有夹杂物(钙黄长石C2AS、铁铝酸四钙C4AF)的普通高铝水泥中，C4AS起着使水泥尽早硬化的作用，而在高铝水泥中则是C12A7起硬化作用。至于C2AS基本上不产生水合作用，也就无法显示其强度。

The properties of refractory cement mainly depend on its mineral composition. The main mineral composition of refractory cement is calcium aluminate (CA), which has high water and hard activity. Although it is not very fast, its hardening is fast, but its hardening time is no longer than a day. It is the main source of high alumina cement strength, especially the early strength. The hydration and hardening of two calcium aluminate (CA2) is slow, the early strength is lower and the later strength is higher. The seven calcium aluminate twelve calcium (C12A7) has the characteristics of rapid hydration and rapid condensation, but the strength is not high. In ordinary high alumina cement containing inclusions (calcium feldspar C2AS, ferric aluminate, four calcium C4AF), C4AS plays an important role in hardening cement as early as possible, while in advanced high alumina cement, C12A7 plays a role of hardening. As to the fact that C2AS basically does not produce hydration, it can not show its strength.

　　耐火水泥含有5种钙铝酸矿物，这些钙铝酸盐都会随着水合反应的进行而显示出激烈的现象。普通高铝水泥(53—55%Al2O3)在5—8h后温度达到峰值，高达80--90℃;含70%Al2O3高铝水泥在10—12h后和含80%Al2O3高铝水泥在8—10h后温度达到峰值，分别是80℃、70℃。

不同种类的高铝水泥单种浇注体的温度和达到高温度的时间由所含钙铝酸盐的特性和含量决定。

The refractory cement contains 5 kinds of calcium aluminate minerals. These calcium aluminates will show a heated phenomenon with the hydration reaction. The highest temperature of ordinary high alumina cement (53 - 55%Al2O3) reaches the peak value after 5 - 8h, up to 80--90 C; the highest cement content of 70%Al2O3 high - alumina cement is 10 - 12h, and the highest temperature of high alumina cement containing 80%Al2O3 is 8 to 10h, the temperature reaches the peak value at 80 and 70 degrees respectively.

The heating temperature and maximum temperature of the single type of high alumina cement are determined by the calorific characteristics and content of the calcium aluminate.

　　快硬性的C12A7和C4AF的量较高。因此高铝水泥的量也将因含有该铝酸盐不同而变化。如果在浇注耐火材料中加入过多含有(C12A7或C4AF为主成分的高铝水泥，将因集中性而使浇注料硬化体中水分激烈蒸发而引起裂纹和表面剥落等。所以，选择水泥的用量和质量是十分重要的。

　　耐火水泥是在常温和高温下皆可起结合作用的一类结合剂(性结合剂)。其耐火性能的优劣对不定形耐火材料的影响为重要。一般而论，水泥中含Fe2O3愈高，其耐火性愈低。含钙铝酸盐种类、含量影响水泥耐火性。实践表明，普通高铝水泥在低于1300℃使用，高铝水泥在低于1500℃使用，低钙高铝水泥(高铝水泥)在高于1600℃温度使用。

Fast hard C12A7 and C4AF have higher fever. Therefore, the calorific value of the high alumina cement will vary with the aluminate. If a lot of high alumina cement containing C12A7 or C4AF is added into the refractory, it will cause cracks and spalling on the surface of the castable hardening body because of the concentrated heat. Therefore, it is very important to choose the quantity and quality of cement.

Refractory cement is a kind of bond (permanent bond) that can play a binding role at both normal and high temperatures. The effect of the fire resistance is very important to the influence of the amorphous refractory. Generally speaking, the higher the Fe2O3 in cement, the less the fire resistance. The type and content of calcium aluminate affect the fire resistance of cement. Practice shows that ordinary high alumina cement is used below 1300 C, high alumina cement is below 1500 C, and low calcium and high alumina cement (high alumina cement) is used at temperatures above 1600 C.
